Finally!
Well the court case is over, now we just have to wait for the verdict. I think this is more stressful than the case. I didn't have to testify, their lawyers had dragged me so deep thru the mud mom's lawyer didn't think I could dig myself out without hurting the case!!! Anyway whatever they think is best, that's why they make the big bucks. I just hate all the lies these people got up there and told, I mean the truth about some stuff was bad enough, why did they have to embellish and add all the other stuff that was not even near true. It was like they took every nasty rumor about any girl in Walker county and made it about me. They had someone testify, that they saw me in a sex tape!!! I mean hello, where are my royalties from that shit. I think that was the funniest story they came up with, that and how they never did drugs, and I did every thing under the sun. They just lied about everything, I really think the judge could see straight thru their bullshit, I mean that is his job really, to spot a liar a mile away. All in all we felt it went really good. I have lots of other updates, but will work on them this week, sorry it has been so long since the last post, but it is hard to keep this updated while traveling.

Military Wife!
I got this in an email, and loved it so I had to post it here. I am not sure of the author but I got it from Josie Smith a military wife and a friend from Germany.
True life of the military wife!
They may look different and each is wonderfully unique
But they have THIS IN COMMON!
Lots of moving---
Moving
Moving
Moving far from home
Moving two cars, 1,2,3 kids and one dog
Moving sofas to basements because they won' t go in THIS house
Moving curtains that won' t fit
Moving away from friends, moving toward new friends
Moving her most important luggage; her trunkful of memories
Often waiting-
Waiting
Waiting
Waiting for housing;
Waiting for orders;
Waiting for deployment;
Waiting for reunion;
Waiting for phone calls;
Waiting for the new curtains to arrive;
Waiting for him to come home for dinner- - - - AGAIN !
They call her a military dependent
But she knows better
She can balance a check book
Handle the yard work
Fix a noisy toilet.
She can file the taxes, sell a house, buy a car, or set up a move.
All with ONE Power of Attorney
She welcomes neighbors that don' t welcome her
Reinvents her career with every PCS;
Locates a house in the desert, the arctic, or the deep south
And learns to call them all ' home' .
She MAKES them all home.
She is fiercely IN-dependent
Military Wives are somewhat hasty ...
They leap into decorating, leadership, and volunteering
They don' t have 15 years to get to know people...
Their roots are short but flexible.
They plant annuals for themselves and perennials for those who come after them.
Military Wives quickly learn to value each other .
They connect over coffee, rely on the spouse- network and accept offers of friendship and favors and record addresses in pencil.
Military Wives have a common bond.
The Military Wife has a husband unlike other husbands, his commitment is unique.
He doesn't have a job, he has a 'mission'.
He can't just decide to quit...
He's on- call for his country 24/7 but for you,
He's the most unreliable guy in town!
His language is foreign...

And so, a Military Wife is a translator for her family and his.
She is the long- distance link to keep them informed, the glue that holds them together.
Military Wife has her moments- ---
She wants to wring his neck,
dye his uniform pink,
and refuse to move to Siberia.
But she pulls herself together....
Give her a few days, a travel brochure, a long hot bath, a pledge to the flag
And a wedding picture....And she goes.
She packs .
She moves .
She follows.Why?
What for?How come?
You may think it is because she has lost her mind.....
But actually it is because she has lost her heart .
It was stolen from her by a man
Who puts duty first
Who longs to deploy
Who salutes the flag
And whose boots in the doorway remind her that as long as he is her Military husband
She will remain his Military wife,
living this life.

Case Update
I just realized I never posted an update about the case. We only had one day of testimony at the last date and the rest has been rescheduled to October the 21-25. It was a very enlightening day I must say, when we got to see all their possible witnesses, and I have to say that some people really have some nerve. No names though!! I also found out that I am somewhat of a celebrity out there in that little town. They really are so far off the mark on some of the questions they are asking about me, that it borders on hilarious. I couldn't help but laugh, I mean I always thought I would leave my mark in this world, but come on..... Anyway I promise to give all the juicy details about myself and all the other people who may think they are safe, but everyone has secrets and I can't wait to see some of their witnesses faces when theirs get out..... LOL!!!!!! Keep you posted, anyone who knows me knows I cant wait til this is over so I can really let some people have it on here.

Kiki's Cold
I know, I am falling very behind on here. So here we go!!! Skeet just fininshed his first cycle of Basic Training.(this time he is the drill sgt not the private...LOL) He has been here for four straight days and we have not killed each other yet... No actually he has been really helpful, he cut the grass, cleaned the garage out and did alot of other things on his huge "honeydo list" over the last three days. It has really been nice to have him home, but we will see if we can handle a whole week together when he takes leave in a week or so. Kiki has had a horrible fever with no other side effects which is so frustrating. We had to take her to the doctor on Monday, cuz the fever was over 103 Sunday nite. They could find no ear infection, or any other possible infections. They just said if she still has a fever in two more days to bring her back. She seems to be doing better today, but has some chest congestion and a little cough. I will keep everyone posted on how she is doing, but right now I have to go rock her to sleep.... She is so very fussy, and I feel sorry for her... I also think she may be getting four more teeth, so that might have something to do with it.... That will make 12 teeth before she is one, crazy right!!

So, Sorry!!
I guess it has been quite awhile since I have added an new info....So sorry! We did have a super fun play date with Jennifer and her two boys. Aidan and Bodie were running around here screaming their little heads off, it was too cute and I got it on video. I will try to post here or on myspace. Now I am going to be the only one left here at Ft. Benning, and I hope I can make it on my own and all my girls can manage to live without me, as well. Kiki has started pulling up and walking around all the furniture and today I got the walker down and she is doing the backwards movement like a champ, we will see how long it takes her to go forward. Please keep me and my mom in all your prayers, next week on the 22nd we have a court date for Budd's custody case. I will be testifying on Tuesday we think so pray for me to keep a cool head and calm tongue. I have wanted for so long to say my piece I just hope I can do it respectfully and not get emotional. I have put it in the Lord's Hand's and I know he will take care of everything..Keep you posted!!

Kiki's Big Day!!!
I forgot to tell everyone we got Kiki's ears pierced last weekend... I was a wreck, I think I was more scared than she was. We went to Claire's in the mall and when we sat down to wait that place was empty but when it was go time, there were probably 30 people watching me torture my daughter!!!!!! I was so proud of her, she cried less than when she gets her vaccinations... It has been pretty easy to take care of them too, so all and all I am glad I got them done now instead of later.. My ears have been pierced since forever, I don't even remember getting mine done and now she won't either... Bodie also went back to class on Thursday, and he was so excited! I just have to get more prepared for constant runny noses and little stomach bugs. They are just part of growing up!!

Yuck, and Double Yuck!!
So Bodie just started a class at Tot Town on post a week or so ago!! He went on Tuesday and on Wednesday woke up horribly sick..I took him to the doctor and they said he has this hand, foot, and mouth virus. He has little sores in his mouth, throat and few on his hands. I just know Kiki will have it next, and I can't stand when these babies are sick.....I knew when he started to daycare this would happen, and I swear I am not some crazy germaphobe, but what are you suppose to do to keep this from happening. I mean I can deal with a little runny nose, but this is awful, he won't eat or drink, he won't sleep long, and he almost barfs every time I get any liquid in him including his meds... They said it can last for up to a week or two..... OMG!!!!!!! He was a little better last night, but today he is back yucky again.. I hope he gets better soon, and does not get sick again for awhile, I knew the only reason he was never sick was because he had not been to daycare...... I thought my kids were just so healthy they would never get sick even at daycare, well welcome back to reality dum dum!!!! Anyway send all good prayers and thoughts my way I need all I can get!!!!!!

Trip to YaYa's!!
We just got back from my mom's yesterday, and we all have a cold. I don't know why everytime I travel away from here one of us comes back with a runny nose. The weather is not that drastically different up there, not that causes a cold but I really think it must be some kind of allergies. Kiki has the worst so far, but Bodie sounds like he is losing his voice. I have been really lucky with these kids hardly ever being sick, but when they get sick I just want to pull my hair out. Kiki was up all night off and on, I just put her in the bed with me after the fifth trip to calm her back down. Anyway I got on here to tell everyone how much fun we all had at Budd's birthday. He had a Spiderman theme, and mom bought him and Bo matching light up Spiderman shirts. They were so cute!! Kiki also had a light up butterfly shirt, I just hope I don't forget and dry them in the dryer because then they won't work anymore.. I am the worst a ruining clothes in the dryer either shrinking stuff or Skeet leaving a pen in his pocket, but I guess then sometimes that makes it his fault. I bet he loves how I can always figure out a way to make it his fault.

Sizzle!!!!!
Ok, so today I had to be up early to go to an orientation for the this class Bodie is starting next week. I took a shower last night and felt really good about getting up and having plenty of time to get everyone ready and out the door. I washed and dried my hair last night but when I woke up the back was kinda crazy looking, so I got out my smallest curling iron to get it to curl back under right.......I don't know if there was spit-up or something else in my hair, but when I went to curl the first little bit on the left side I heard a sizzle, then I tried to get the curling iron out and it had burned a 1 inch long by 1 inch wide section of my hair off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG!! I thought I was going to die.... It was just sizzling away on the curling iron!!! Thank goodness the back of my hair looks so jacked up anyway, (cuz I really need a haircut) you couldn't see the burned part too bad. I don't know what could have caused this to happen unless there was something on the curling iron or in my hair that made it get really hot in this one place.. The reason I say spit-up is because Kiki woke up really early and I fed her in the bed, and when I got her up she burped, and I saw a little bit of spit-up on my shirt....I don't know for sure, but now I really, really need a haircut....Maybe when I go to my mom's house next week I will get a chance to get one..... Anyway, note to self get up earlier and take shower in the morning next time!!!!!!

Dinner for Fifteen, Please!!
Today, I am cooking a meal for all the drill sgt's in Skeet's company. I always feel like I make too much food, but not this time. I am making a chicken casserole, and this thing is huge. I hope I can get it there in one piece. I am also making a crunchy asian cole slaw that Skeet loves, however I do feel it is an aquired taste and may not be appreciated by all.. Any way wish me luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My First Try!
So, I guess today, I would say I am way to involved in creating this page, than to actually write something.....
I would like for my first post to be about our wonderful trip to the beach. I knew that with Skeet switching to Drill Sgt we would need to spend some quality time together as a family so I planned a short trip down to Panama City Beach. Little did I know how crazy this trip would quickly become!!!! The trip down was nice no rain, not too hot, but as usual I have to drive. ( lets just say it,I have control issues) We arrive way to early to check in, and decide to eat lunch, and do some shopping at the new pier park shopping area. So far so good, no big fits at lunch, and not to much money spent shopping.. We go back to check in and they tell us we are on the 26th floor... No, No please check again I asked for the lowest floor available, "yes ma'am this is the lowest floor available".. Dum Dum Dummm ( my imitation of scary music) I can do this!! We go up to the room and it is gorgeous, a well decorated condo with new flat screens, granite tile, and everything I would love in my home but can't currently afford... We get unpacked and make our first venture to the beach. Bodie loves it, we can barely keep him out of the water, he took off like a shot as far out as he could go without getting knocked over by the waves....Mind you, this is just in his clothes the plan was just a quick walk down the beach... Kiki however had the total opposite reaction, she didn't care for the sand or the water at first, the next day she seemed a little less apprehensive. The time came for dinner and we got dressed for a nice dinner out, everything was good a few meltdowns since we had no naps, but all in all a pretty good first day. The next day we go out for breakfast and come back and go down to beach. Skeet was so wonderful and went down first thing in the morning to get us a nice little rental on the beach with two loungers, an umbrella, and he took the quilt we brought from home and made a place for Kiki to lay. This was the best day! Until!!! (Dum Dum Dummm) we decided to go up to the pool in the afternoon, let me say I really didn't expect for Bodie to have such a bad reaction since he loved the beach. He didn't want to get in the float, he didn't want me to hold him, he didn't want Skeet to hold him, he just didn't want to be in or near that pool. Let me just put this out there this is fourth of July week there had to be over a hundred people at the pool watching me and Skeet fight with Bodie to stay in the pool.. Eventually we gave up, and Skeet and Bodie went back to the beach and Kiki and I stay at the pool.. I also want to say how much Kiki loved the pool, float, and every single person who looked her way she was talking and laughing at..... She was in heaven!!! The time comes and we are all getting everything ready to go up and get ready for dinner....(Dum Dum Dummm) Bodie has a fit no nap again only now this is day two with no nap, major meltdown!!! Can't you just see us, two little kids, beach bags, floats, I swear we must have carried everything but the kitchen sink to that beach. We make it to the elevator, did I mention for some reason Bodie has a fear of the elevator, as soon as we get in it he tries to escape, and gets right in the way as the door closes. We barely catch him... Ok, this elevator stops on like every floor, on the way up and he is screaming like a crazy man.....trying every time to wriggle his way out... We make it to the room, and he is out asleep in like five minutes, that is a new record. We all get ready while he sleeps and everything is going good. We wanted to be at Capt Anderson's at like 5 cuz this place is always packed, we get there at 6:30, and it looks like we are going to be waiting forever.. Here comes my wonderful husband and his sometimes annoying, but this time wonderful personality... He can talk his way into anything, he gets us seated in like less that fifteen minutes. I love this man!!!!! We sit down, and everything is going good! We have a wonderful, yet extremely expensive dinner, I tell myself it is worth it, we only do this maybe once or twice a year... Back to the room, bed , sleep all good......(Dum Dum Dummm) Check out Day!!!! We get up , pack up, last look around to make sure we have everything.. Good!!! We go out on the balcony for one last time, this is only the second time we even let Bodie go out there, I have the video camera filming the ocean, then Bodie, then back to the ocean. Bodie goes in and I continue to film!!!! Here he comes back and I didn't look down, he was only gone a second into the room.. However, this time he came back out with the cordless phone, off the TV stand right by the door. I look down at him, his arm is through the bars and the phone is in his hand, I say give mommie the phone, he looks, smiles, and I know you know what comes next........Thank god it was super early and there were no people out yet, but let me just say again I knew I didn't want to be on the 26th floor. That phone bounced off the building and into the sand and it was in a hundred pieces when Skeet went downstairs, did I say I love this man. I was so embarrassed to go down to check-out. Skeet went and took the phone and told them about everything, they were so nice and so surprised we told them about it, that they didn't even charge us for the phone. They said most people just check out and wouldn't even say anything..... Maybe I would have done that too when I was like in my twenties, but not now that I have Skeet to go do the dirty work, I didn't mind being honest.. All in all it was a good trip, nothing too unexpected, however I will never stay in a room that high again no matter what...................................
